This Privacy Policy is issued by Pinas Group of Companies ("PGC", "we", "us", "our"), the organizer of the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino (DMP) 2026 awards program, in respect of the public voting platform at this website ("the Platform"). This Policy is issued in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("the PDPL") and its implementing regulations.
When you cast a vote, we collect: your full name, email address, mobile number, nationality, IP address, and a browser/device identifier. Email and mobile number are used solely to verify your identity (via a one-time passcode) and to enforce one vote per person.
We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent box before submitting a vote, for the following purposes:
- Verifying your identity and preventing duplicate or fraudulent votes;
- Administering the DMP 2026 voting process and announcing results;
- Sharing your details with the event's official partners and sponsors for promotional purposes and marketing communications, including calls and messages, where you have consented to this; and
- Complying with our legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: (a) our data processors (including our database/hosting provider, Supabase, and email delivery providers used solely to send the OTP verification code); (b) the official sponsors and partners of DMP 2026 listed on this website, only where you have consented to promotional communications; and (c) UAE regulators or law enforcement where required by law.
Voting records are retained for the duration of the DMP 2026 event cycle and for a reasonable period afterward for audit, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention period is required by UAE law.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls restricting voter records to authorized administrators only, and database-level uniqueness safeguards that prevent tampering with vote counts.
Subject to the exceptions set out in the PDPL, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office if you believe your rights have been infringed.
Where your data is processed or stored outside the UAE by our service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in a manner consistent with the PDPL's requirements for cross-border data transfers.

By accessing or using this voting platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this Platform. These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Voting is open to the public, subject to identity verification via email OTP. Only one vote per person is permitted, enforced through a unique combination of verified email address, mobile number, and browser/device identifier. Any attempt to circumvent this — including using multiple email accounts, fake identities, automated scripts, or bots — is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification of the vote(s) involved.
Votes may only be cast during the official voting period published on this website. PGC reserves the right to open, close, extend, or suspend the voting period at its sole discretion, including in the event of technical issues or suspected fraud.
By submitting a vote, you confirm that the name, mobile number, and other information you provide is true, accurate, and belongs to you. PGC reserves the right to request proof of identity and to invalidate any vote it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or submitted with false information.
PGC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: disqualify any vote or voter suspected of fraud or violation of these Terms; modify the voting mechanics, finalist list, or event schedule; and make final and binding decisions on all matters relating to DMP 2026, including determination of the winner(s).
Where you have provided consent, PGC and its official partners/sponsors may contact you via call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email for promotional purposes related to DMP 2026 and related PGC events. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 9 of the Privacy Policy).
To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, PGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this Platform, including loss caused by technical failure, service interruption, or third-party service providers (including email or SMS delivery delays).
PGC may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
