Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino sa UAE — "Great Filipino Worker in the UAE" — is an annual search conceptualized by Marlyn Castro, CEO of Pinas Group of Companies, to honor the unsung Filipino heroes of the UAE: overseas Filipino workers who go beyond their daily responsibilities to support their families, their employers, their communities, and their faith.
The search is built around four measures of a life well lived, mirrored directly in the scoring rubric judges use on this system: Work Performance, Family Life Management, Service to Others / Community, and Church / Religious Involvement. Since its founding in 2021, DMP has produced a Grand Winner every year — including Mary Ann Paglinawan (2021), Joemar Tagala (2022), Federico Dulla Jr. (2023), Jonnel Garcia (2024), and Mark Jore (2025) — with nominees narrowed down from the public nomination phase, to a semifinalist Top 10, to a live on-stage deliberation judged by a panel exactly like the one this portal supports.
DMP 2026 is Season 6 of the search, with nominations, semifinalist judging, and a live Grand Finals event where the final scores recorded through this Judge Portal determine the season's Grand Winner.
Pinas Express Cargo & Clearing LLC — known to its customers as "Pinascargonatics" — was founded in Dubai in 2014 by Marlyn Castro and has grown into the UAE's leading balikbayan box and cargo forwarding service for the Filipino community, with dedicated teams operating door-to-door pickup and delivery across all seven Emirates.

The Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino search is Pinas Group's flagship community initiative — a way of giving back to the same OFW community the Group was built to serve, by publicly recognizing the sacrifices and achievements of everyday Filipino workers.
Every nominee is scored on four criteria, each entered directly out of its own weight allocation — there is no separate multiplication step, so the four numbers you enter sum straight to the nominee's total out of 100:
- Employee's Work Performance — 0 to 30 points
- Family Life Management — 0 to 30 points
- Service to Others / Community — 0 to 20 points
- Church / Religious Involvement — 0 to 20 points
Scoring happens on the Live tab of this portal while the admin has a nominee on stage. You may enter and revise all four scores freely while the nominee is being interviewed — scores autosave a moment after you stop typing. Once you click Submit Score and confirm, that nominee's score is permanently locked and can never be edited again by you or anyone else, so submit only once you are certain of your evaluation.
For some nominees, the admin may randomly assign each judge a specific criterion to pay closer attention to during the interview, shown on your Live tab as "Your focus category." This is purely a facilitation aid to spread the panel's attention across all four criteria — it does not restrict or change your scoring: you are still required to enter, and are still responsible for, all four criteria for every nominee.
A nominee's overall standing is the simple average of that nominee's submitted totals across all judges on the panel — every judge's submitted score is weighted equally. The system ranks nominees by this average and automatically flags the top scorers as finalists as scores come in; nothing needs to be manually tallied.
- Score strictly on the merits of what is presented during the interview and in the nominee's profile — not on personal acquaintance, appearance, or any factor unrelated to the four criteria.
- Do not discuss your scores, running totals, or leanings with other judges, nominees, event staff, or the audience before the event's official results are announced.
- Disclose to the event organizer, before scoring begins, any personal, family, or professional relationship you have with a nominee that could reasonably affect your impartiality.
- The organizer's decision on any scoring dispute, tie-break, or disqualification is final.
To operate this Judge Portal, the system stores: your judge account (Judge ID, name, and a securely hashed pincode — never your plain pincode); the scores, remarks, and timestamps you submit for each nominee; and the nominees' profile data (name, role, emirate, bio, and photo) supplied by the event organizer for judging purposes.
All data is stored in a managed database protected by Row Level Security policies and server-side functions, meaning judges and the public can only read and write exactly the records this portal is designed to expose — never another judge's session, another judge's in-progress (unsubmitted) scores, or nominee data outside this event. Your pincode is verified server-side and is never stored or transmitted in plain text beyond your own login request.
Your individual, per-criterion scores and remarks are visible to you and to the event's administrators, who use them to compute rankings and finalists. Aggregated results (e.g. a nominee's average total across the panel) may be shown to other judges and, after the event, may be shared publicly as part of announcing results — individual judges are never named alongside their individual scores in any public communication.
Scoring data is retained for as long as needed to run the current season, verify results, and resolve any post-event disputes, after which it may be archived or deleted at the organizer's discretion. Judge accounts remain active only for the duration of the season you were engaged for, unless the organizer invites you to serve in a future season.
Keep your Judge ID and pincode confidential — do not share your login with anyone, including other judges or event staff, since any activity recorded under your account is treated as your own. If you suspect your credentials have been compromised, notify the event administrator immediately so your account can be reset.
This portal is provided solely to panelists officially appointed by Pinas Group of Companies for the current DMP season. Access is granted for the sole purpose of scoring nominees for this event and must not be used for any other purpose, shared with unauthorized parties, or accessed after your role as a judge has concluded.
By clicking Submit Score, you affirm that the scores entered reflect your genuine, considered evaluation of that nominee. Submitted scores are final and locked by design — the organizer will not reopen a submitted score except in the case of a demonstrable technical error, at the organizer's sole discretion.
This system is provided "as is." While reasonable efforts are made to keep it available and accurate throughout the live event, Pinas Group of Companies is not liable for any interruption, delay, or data loss arising from internet connectivity, device issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In the event of a technical failure during live scoring, follow the organizer's on-site fallback procedure (e.g. paper scoring) so the event can continue uninterrupted.
The event administrator controls which nominee is live on stage, the on-stage timer, and the optional focus-category assignment. These controls exist to run the live event smoothly and do not alter, override, or influence the scores you submit — your scores remain entirely your own judgment.
The DMP name, logo, branding, nominee profiles, and all content displayed within this portal are the property of Pinas Group of Companies / Pinas Express Cargo & Clearing LLC and its content contributors, and may not be copied, redistributed, or used outside the scope of your role as a judge.
